STOCK LOGISTICS ASSISTANT

30 Hours per week, based in Bristol
Reports to Shop Manager, Stock logistics Manager, Online customer service Manager

We are seeking a candidate who is ambitious and energetic, who is accustomed to troubleshooting and problem solving, working within a well established friendly team and unconditionally supporting the growth of the business.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Ensuring effective completion of goods-in, whilst maintaining high standards back of house and shop floor. Supporting the online customer service manager with picking, processing and bagging orders. Providing excellent customer service on the shop floor when the business requires.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining stockroom standards to the highest levels at all times.
  • Storing stock in an organised, clear concise manner.
  • Maintaining stock replenishment.
  • Carry out key tasks in a timely manner e.g. tagging and labeling.
  • Ensure all stock is merchandised and its’ presentation is impeccable.  
  • A Support network to company photographer, ensuring all incoming styles are represented online.
  • Adding purchase orders to the stock management system for incoming deliveries.
  • Support the Online Customer Service Manager with picking, destocking and bagging orders.
  • Dealing with incoming customer returns and following company guidelines.
  • Assuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent levels of customer service.
  • Offer product knowledge and match customers needs, upselling and closing sales

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Cover the Stock Logistics Manager duties in their absence.  
  • Cover the Online Customer Service Manager in their absence.
  • To be aware of Health & Safety requirements in the store and communicate all potential issues risks to management.
  • To ensure good communication with your colleagues and managers
  • To ensure time keeping, attendance and lateness is in line with company’s policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Similar experience working in a stockroom, warehouse or online
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service experience
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Knowledge in stock management systems and / or Magento is desirable
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

ASSISTANT SHOP FLOOR MANAGER

42 Hours per week
Reports to Shop Floor Manager and Operations Manager

 ROLE OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a small team and the handling general tasks as stated below. Displaying a diverse and broad skill set in retail management, and a strong ambition in supporting the growth of the business is key in this role. The successful candidate should represent 5 Pointz and yourself well by acting as a role model to the people reporting to you.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:

  • To assist the store manager in upholding the operating manner of the company, exhibiting continuity in all operations.
  • Positioned to be ready to assist with and take over full managerial tasks as necessary.
  • To be familiar with the entire running of the Store Operations with a good working knowledge of the processes behind all services and procedures.
  • Ensuring all store day to day tasks are delegated amongst staff and yourself and completed each day.
  • To drive the store sales through personally and effectively motivating the team to achieve and exceed set budgets and sales targets.
  • To identify opportunities and initiatives to continually improve performance, communicating them to the Store Manager regularly.
  • Maintain awareness of product and merchandising standards, utilising floorplans, replenishing stock and following VM guidelines.
  • Responsible for processing cash, card and voucher payments, balancing cash registers with receipts and filling in weekly taking sheets.
  • Display excellent customer service and communication skills, interacting with customers when they require assistance.
  • To ensure time keeping, attendance and lateness is in line with company’s policies and procedures.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • As part of a small, supportive team, from time to time you will be required to assist certain aspects of the online dispatch team.
  • To be aware of Health & Safety requirements in the store and communicate all potential issues risks to management.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • At least 12 months experience working as an assistant store manager or significant experience working in retail.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Able to use own initiative.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

PART TIME SALES ASSISTANT 

14 Hours per week
Reports to Shop Floor Manager and Assistant Shop Floor Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:

You will report directly to the Store Manager & Assistant manger. Your key accountabilities will be to maximise sales within the store and strive to hit sales targets. You will be expected to be able to think on your feet and be ready to work in a fast paced environment, have a passion and knowledge of the Streetwear Industry, have excellent people skills and positive attitude day in and day out to meet company standards.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Greeting customers who enter the shop.
  • Be involved in stock control and management.
  • Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
  • Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
  • Replenishing merchandise
  • Answering queries from customers in a positive manner
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
  • Balancing cash registers with receipts
  • Dealing with customer refunds
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping
  • Responsible for dealing with customer complaints
  • Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands
  • Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor
  • Responsible for security within the store and being on the look out for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc
  • Receiving and processing daily deliveries
  • Keeping up to date with special promotions and agendas for that week
  • Being responsible for large amounts of product information to assist customers. Eg Key releases dates and restocks
  • Be aware of current promotions and targets to be able to promote at all opportunities
  • Dealing with stock replenishment issues
  • Will have to be able to work under pressure to hit sales targets
  • Adhere to Health and Safety legislation.

SKILLS

  • Having a friendly and engaging personality
  • Comfortable working with members of the public
  • Should have a confident manner
  • Must be helpful and polite
  • Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock
  • You should have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e. retail, Mens Streetwear, fast moving consumer goods, sports equipment etc
  • Able to work as part of a sales team
  • Knowledge of inventory techniques
  • Should be of a appearance that represents the brand guidelines
