The Nike ACG Summer Collection updates existing styles and introduces us to a new addition to the ACG footwear family.
Nike ACG – or All Conditions Gear – to use its full name, crept back into our consciousness at the latter end of last year thanks to Errolson Hugh’s stint as the man to relaunch Nike’s trail specific line.
In the beginning of this year, with Hugh having stepped away from ACG, Nike released it’s first full collection of apparel and footwear, bringing back what many consumers loved about it when it was first released in 1989.
As it was then, functionality is at the core of ACG – Jackets and fleeces that could take you just as easily to the shops on a rainy day as they could up a mountain, to experimental trouser styles that epitomise the current market obsession with hi-tech gear as a streetwear staple.
The Nike ACG Summer collection brings a vibrant orange colour palette, with muted pink tones, to a number of outerwear styles, including a packable jacket.
As well as this, the collection is comprised of t-shirts, shorts, longsleeves and headwear, with more images to come soon.
Footwear also lands alongside the Summer apparel, including the ACG Wildwood and a new addition to the ACG footwear family in the form of the ACG React Terra Gobe.
The Terra Gobe features many of the qualities ACG enthusiasts have come to expect from the line, ripstop material, waterproof ability, and of course a speckled midsole in homage to the 1991 Mowabb that start it all.
Alongside this, the ACG Wildwood is back in a Desert Dust colourway, with muted brown and dusty peach tones, off set nicely with a royal blue swoosh.
You can expect the Nike ACG Summer Collection to drop on 20th April at 5 Pointz. For now you can shop our existing ACG items by hitting the link below.
