Brand History
Supra Footwear launched in 2005 when the founder Angel Cabada decided to expand his interest in making cool, fashionable gear to include sneakers.

Angel Cabada grew up in Orange County, California where he fell in love with skateboarding. He tried working regular jobs, but nothing lasted very long, so he decided to break the mold and make clothes with some friends.

In 2002 Cabada started a clothing company called KR3W which is still going strong today. Instead of starting a footwear line within KR3W he decided to start a sister company with it's own style and branding. He named this company 'Supra' which is latin for 'above and beyond'. The aim was to produce footwear to compliment KR3W that was less 'chunky' than most skate shoes on the market.

In only a short time Supra has grown drastically and they are now well known for manufacturing the best skateboard shoes around. The support of the shoes make them great for riding and the attention to detail in the design means they appeal to non skaters on a purely aesthetic level. The overall fit of the shoes makes them some of the most comfortable shoes ever, while still supporting your ankle.

Through strong design, clever marketing and a bit of luck Supra has become a big name in streetwear in only a matter of years. Supra has been endorsed by several big names in skating and some big names in hip hop such as Jay Z. The shoes are made of hard wearing high quality materials and designed with skaters in mind and so are built to last. The brand's success seems to be it gunuine approach to the business which skaters and streetwear heads seem to relate to.

Collaborations
Supra has taken on collaborations with a few companies, such as Brooklyn Projects, and they have designed many signature shoes for some of todays top skateboard riders. One of the sneakers which helped put Supra on the map, and one which happens to be their best seller is the Supra Muska Skytop which was designed by rider Chad Muska.

Recent Supra News
Our selection of Supras is growing all the time. The latest drop was so big that we could barely fit it in the stock room. As well as the unique and instantly recognizable silhouettes, it is the often the materials used that make Supra so special.

For example we now have versions of the 'Skytop' and 'Society' that have uppers made entirely of pigskin. This is softer and therefopre more comfortable than leather and also has matte finish that gives the shoes a rich look.

Another new material used this season is the waxed canvas which we have on the 'Skytop', the 'Skytop II', the 'Society' and the 'Henry Boot'. This has the texture and look of canvas while having a durability and weather-proofing that is pretty much unbeatable.

A very special version of the 'Vaider' has also arrived with this latest drop. It has been constructed with a mixture of suede and canvas which gives it a multi-tonal look that is brought out by the contrasting black stitching and pure white sole.
