This new colour-way of the ever-popular Air Max 90 features a leather/suede mix on the uppers with contrasting rubber panels, an 'AIRMAX' panel on the side above a visible air bubble in the sole and padded lining. Introduced in 1990 as the Nike Air Max III, the Nike Air Max 90 turned more heads with an even larger visible air unit, greater stability and better cushioning than the original Air Max 1.
